Flora and Fauna: An Exploration of Nature Through Art

The West Ox Arts Gallery in Bampton is thrilled to announce the upcoming exhibition, Flora and Fauna a captivating showcase of diverse artistic interpretations inspired by the natural world. Opening on 28 September, the exhibition will feature the work of a group of talented artists who employ a range of mediums, including painting, printmaking, ceramics, mosaic, and reclaimed objects.

Flora and Fauna invites viewers to embark on a sensory journey through the eyes of these gifted artists. Eight painters and printmakers will present their unique visions of flora and fauna, capturing the essence of nature with vibrant colours, intricate details, and expressive styles. Complementing their work, three artists will showcase innovative creations crafted from reclaimed materials, ceramics, and mosaics, offering fresh perspectives on the beauty and fragility of the environment.

The exhibition promises a harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary techniques, inviting visitors to appreciate the diversity of artistic expression and the enduring power of nature as a source of inspiration.

Flora and Fauna will be on display at The West Ox Arts Gallery from 28 September to 26 October. An opening reception will be held on 28 September from 12 to 2pm.
